The remote dimming modulator unit (hereinafter RDMU) is an electronic device designed to transmit commands to control the brightness of luminaires.

The transmission of information messages is carried out over the supply voltage networks of the luminaires and allows the control of the brightness of the light on the basis of the existing cabling lines. The system allows you to control the power of luminaires with a driver (power supply) with the possibility of multi-level dimming.

Control signals are transmitted at very short intervals and do not affect the performance of the sinusoidal power supply. BMDD is installed in the lighting control cabinet for each of the power phases to which the dimmable luminaires are connected.
